Dreaded outlaw arrested

CHARSADDA: The police on Friday arrested a dreaded outlaw involved in heinous crimes in the limits of Sardheri Police Station, official said.

Talking to reporters, District Police Officer (DPO) Shafiullah Khan said Javed Iqbal was involved in crimes of heinous nature, including murders, robberies, land grabbing, kidnapping for ransom and extortion in Peshawar, Charsadda, Nowshera and Mardan.

 He said the proclaimed offender had created a reign of terror, forcing people to give him extortion. "The arrest of the hardened criminal was something like a challenge for the police force and Deputy Inspector General of Police, Mardan Range, Muhammad Saeed Wazir had tasked me to nab the outlaw at the earliest," said the DPO.
